CEENTA CEO Dr. Jag Gill Featured in Business NC’s 2024 Power List

CEENTA is proud to announce that CEO Jag Gill, ScD, FACHE, FACMPE, has once again been named to Business North Carolina's Power List.

This honor highlights business leaders in the state of North Carolina who have made meaningful contributions to their respective industries and the communities they serve. For 2024, Dr. Gill is listed in the Healthcare section as one of only three Charlotte-based leaders and has received this distinction for the second consecutive year.

Graduating from Columbia University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Dr. Gill received his master’s in health-systems management from the University of Missouri and his doctorate in health-systems management from Tulane University. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of CEENTA for over a decade.

In addition to his listing, Dr. Gill was also interviewed by Business North Carolina for their print and online publication.

What was your first job?
I was an Assistant Manager at Bonanza Steak House.

What was the best advice you have ever received and from whom?
Let the moon set and rise at least once when dealing with controversial issues. This was from my mentor during residency.

Who is a person you admire?
John F. Kennedy.

What is your proudest career accomplishment?
Helping build the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, which was the first rural children’s hospital in Danville, Pennsylvania since the 1920s.

What is your favorite question to ask potential hires?
If you had unlimited financial resources and were to go on a trip, where would you go? Who would you take with you? And what would you do?
