An eyebrow lift, also known as a forehead lift or forehead rejuvenation, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that raises the brow and improves their appearance, as well as that of the surrounding area.

Your doctor may consider one of four different procedures: a direct brow lift, an endoscopic brow lift, a coronal brow lift, or a hairline brow lift.
Correction of mild to moderate brow ptosis may be accomplished through the same incision as an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, or with injections into the brow area using a hyaluronic acid product, as there is always some loss of brow volume. When the heaviness of the brow is more severe, surgery directly above the brow, in the forehead creases, or at the hairline can be performed.
The endoscopic brow lift is performed through small incisions hidden behind the hairline, using an endoscope and special instruments. The muscles that pull the brow down are relaxed and the entire forehead is lifted, allowing the brow to be raised into a more youthful position.
Brow lifts are an outpatient procedure that takes one to two hours. Patients are administered anesthesia and the experience is painless.
Your head might be wrapped in bandages and a tube may be used to drain any excess blood or fluid after the procedure. Doctors will give each patient specific postop instructions following the surgery. Generally, you will rest with your head elevated and take any prescription pain medication.
A cold compress may be applied to relieve swelling. Avoid putting excessive pressure on the incisions. It is advised for patients to take a week off of work.
Your doctor will let you know when it is okay to resume daily activities.
