Michael Falcone, MD, dresses up for Halloween

Halloween is that special time of year where you can enjoy sweet treats and show off your creative side to your family, friends, and peers. CEENTA’s eye and ENT physicians across our offices all like to take part in spooky season, and they’re here to share some of their favorite Halloween snacks and traditions.

What is your favorite Halloween candy?

When you think about Halloween candy, what comes to mind? For quite a few of our physicians, chocolate was their candy of choice. From Kit Kats for ophthalmologist Vipul Shah, MD, to Heath Bars for otolaryngologist Christopher Tebbit, MD, there was no shortage of chocolate-covered answers. Dr. Jamie Scaglione from our Concord office enjoys a traditional Hershey bar and remarked, “It’s better if I steal it from one of my kid’s bags.” Going against the grain, ENT physician Michael Falcone, MD, said that he preferred Nerds on October 31st.

What are your favorite Halloween traditions?

The best way to celebrate Halloween is with those around you, and CEENTA’s doctors have a medley of ideas. Ophthalmologist Joshua Rheinbolt, MD, enjoys seeing his kids having fun together in the neighborhood, while head and neck cancer surgeon Douglas Villaret, MD, likes decorating his house and taking his girls trick-or-treating. Dr. Shah stays warm with chili and a hot drink, and Dr. Falcone gets festive with his costumes at our University office.

As for Dr. Scaglione, whether it’s her or her children dressing up, she likes to have fun on this holiday.
