Dr. Douglas Villaret is an otolaryngologist who specializes in comprehensive adult & pediatric ENT care, head & neck cancer, and thyroid surgery, servicing the Charlotte area in our Pineville office. He graduated from Stanford University and received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. His surgery internship and otolaryngology – head & neck surgery residency were both at the University of Cincinnati. His head & neck cancer/microvascular & reconstructive surgery fellowship was at the University of Washington. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology, the American College of Surgeons, the American Head and Neck Society, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Association for Cancer Research, the American Society for Gene Therapy, the Society of University Otolaryngologists, and the Triological Society. He is on the Editorial Boards of the American Journal of Clinical Oncology and the North American Craniomaxillofacial Committee. He is on the Education Board of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.
