Dr. Payal S. Patel is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in eye exams and general ophthalmology. Her services include diabetic eye care, pink eye and infection treatment, vision treatment, and traditional and laser-assisted cataract surgery.
She earned her bachelor’s degree with honors in biology from West Virginia University and her medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine. She was resident physician at Riverside Methodist Hospital, then completed an ophthalmology residency at Summa Health System.
Dr. Patel has contributed to numerous research projects, publications and presentations.
A dedicated public servant, Dr. Patel has also volunteered with free clinics and in educational programs for young students.
