Shelby Jackloski MM, MS, CCC-SLP, is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Singing Voice Specialist from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Ms. Jackloski completed her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts and her Master of Music degree in Voice Pedagogy and Performance at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey. She also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with a minor in Educational Theatre from New York University and is an experienced music teacher at the Pre-K-12 and collegiate levels.
With the Westminster Symphonic Choir under the direction of Dr. Joe Miller, Ms. Jackloski has performed large-scale choral works with the New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra at David Geffen Hall and the Kimmel Center, respectively. As a soprano soloist, she has performed repertoire in the annual Carnegie Hall Honors Recital and in various venues throughout New York, New Jersey, and Prague, Czech Republic.
Ms. Jackloski completed her clinical fellowship in voice, swallow, and upper airway disorders at Voice Rehab, LLC in South Miami, FL. Previously, Ms. Jackloski gained clinical experience in the treatment and evaluation of voice, swallow, and upper airway disorders as a graduate student clinician at Greenville ENT in Greenville, South Carolina.
Her primary areas of interest and research include rehabilitation of the singing voice, care of the professional voice, neurological voice disorders, functional swallowing and voice disorders, upper airway disorders, and gender affirming voice therapy.
Ms. Jackloski believes in true patient-centered care that is grounded in evidence-based practice, a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology, and consideration of implicit/explicit motor learning principles. Above all, she prioritizes helping patients to find and cultivate their unique voice in order to meet their daily communication needs.
In her free time, Ms. Jackloski enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, biking and practicing yoga.
