Biography

Tegan DeMarcus, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist specializing in auditory-verbal therapy in Charlotte, NC.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of South Carolina, Mrs. DeMarcus continued her education at her alma mater and earned her master’s degree in speech-language pathology. During her master’s program, Mrs. DeMarcus participated in research with children with hearing loss and USC’s Cochlear Implant/Auditory-Verbal specialization track. After graduation, she completed her clinical fellowship at the Auditory Verbal Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She continued as an auditory verbal therapist on their team providing in person and teletherapy services before moving to Charlotte, NC to join the team at CEENTA. She is passionate about providing children with hearing loss the opportunity to develop listening and spoken language skills using their hearing technology. Mrs. DeMarcus holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state of North Carolina.

In her free time, Mrs. DeMarcus enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks.
