I had a cochlear implant activated last year in my left ear by Dr. Nicholas Stowell. That nerve had been dormant for about 40 years. I didn’t think they could fix my left ear because the nerve is dead, but they’ve been very good. I give them an A+.

The surgery was very simple. Dr. Stowell, my audiologist, and the whole staff were super nice.

I recently went back for a checkup, and I’m comfortable hearing and can pick up most noises. I’m not up to 100 percent yet but I can hear things like snapping fingers, a dropping pencil, and microwave beeps.

CEENTA was very helpful with scheduling my appointments mid-morning to give me time to drive 2 ½ hours from Candler.
