Why did you choose to work in healthcare?
I wanted to to serve others and my community.

What was your first job?
My first job was bagging groceries for Publix.

What movie/TV show quote has stuck with you and why?
"A man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man." - Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) in The Godfather. Family is so important to me. I cherish every moment that I can spend with them, especially around the dinner table.

What is your favorite homecooked or restaurant meal?
A bowl of mussels to start, bucatini all'Amatriciana for the pasta course, porchetta for the main course, and a cannoli to complete the meal.

Outside of the office, you are...
Spending time in my kitchen, on the lake, or in the NC mountains.

What book do you recommend to everyone and why?
Any cookbook that inspires you to spend more time in the kitchen. Feeding others brings me so much joy, plus I get to eat it too!

Which college/professional teams do you cheer for?
My favorite college team is the Florida Gators, and professionally I cheer for the Carolina Panthers.

What musician did you listen to as a child that you still enjoy?
Billy Joel.

What are the little things in life that we should enjoy?
Quality time with the ones you love.
