CEENTA is pleased to announce the addition of four new ear, nose, and throat physicians to our practice effective September 24, 2024: Bailin Alexander, MD, Steven Aziz, MD, Lukas Dumberger, MD, and Teresa Vos, MD.
Dr. Alexander is an otolaryngologist who specializes in allergy testing and treatment, ear tube surgery, tonsillectomy, chronic sinusitis care, and surgical treatments for obstructive sleep apnea including Inspire. Graduating from the University of Vermont with a degree in biology, Dr. Alexander received his master's degree in pharmacology and medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine where he was a DeBakey Scholar. He later completed his residency in otolaryngology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.
“I'm thrilled to join a group with the reputation and history of CEENTA. I’m looking forward to contributing to the well-being of patients in our community,” Dr. Alexander said.
As a comprehensive otolaryngologist, Dr. Aziz’s clinical interests include seasonal allergy care, septoplasty, functional rhinoplasty, head and neck cancer, and obstructive sleep apnea. After graduating from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a degree in biology, Dr. Aziz earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University. He later completed his otolaryngology residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

Lukas Dumberger, MD, brings fellowship training in head and neck cancer surgical oncology, skull base surgery, and microvascular reconstruction to the Charlotte area. Dr. Dumberger graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate and medical degrees. He later completed his residency and his fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
“Having grown up in North Carolina, I am excited to return to practice in Charlotte and provide head and neck cancer care to the people of this wonderful state,” Dr. Dumberger said. “In joining CEENTA, I look forward to working amongst a tight knit group of friends and to have the opportunity of becoming a long-term part of the Charlotte community.”
Dr. Teresa Vos specializes in adult and pediatric ENT care with emphasis on ear disorders including infections, hearing loss, and ear surgery. In addition, she provides expertise in chronic sinusitis, allergy care, and thyroid surgery. After receiving her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Vos attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine to complete her medical degree. She later returned to her alma mater UNC to complete her residency in otolaryngology.
“I was drawn to ENT because of the way our field and treatment methods for the head and neck affect the way patients communicate with the world around them, “Dr. Vos said. “I love being able to address surgical issues but also maintain long-term patient relationships. I chose to practice at CEENTA because of the uniquely supportive environment and I feel lucky to be joining a practice that is so established and committed to the community.”
Dr. Alexander will see patients at our University office, Drs. Aziz and Dumberger will treat patients at our SouthPark location, and Dr. Vos will provide her services at our Belmont and Steele Creek offices. To make an appointment with these physicians, please call 704-295-3000.
