CEENTA is proud to announce our ongoing CEENTAcares partner for 2022: The CARE Project.
CEENTAcares is the charitable arm of our practice which raises money for nonprofit organizations that make a difference in the community and corresponds with CEENTA’s healthcare mission.
The CARE Project is a nonprofit organization devoted to helping families with children and/or adults who are suffering with hearing loss. Their mission is to provide counseling services that address the emotional stages of grief associated with hearing loss along with tools for teaching professionals and pre-professionals that build their active listening skills with clients and patients. This mission is accomplished through a multifaceted approach including professional learning experiences, fundraising events, and family retreats.
CEENTA’s audiologists are trained to determine the extent of hearing loss in patients and provide treatment solutions such as hearing aids and cochlear implants.
“Each year, our staff and physicians nominate and vote for the charity that CEENTAcares will partner with and we couldn't be more thrilled to partner with The CARE Project this year. Our team is proud to give back to our community through these charity partnerships,” CEENTAcares committee member Serah Haley said.
CEENTAcares has several fundraising events throughout the year, including denim days, raffles, and the annual CEENTAcares Classic Golf Tournament. In addition, we are excited to meet and partner with the CARE Project team during their upcoming Family Fun Day in the Charlotte area. These Family Fun Day events allow for parents to meet other parents who have children or family members experiencing hearing loss.
Previous fundraising partners have included Philips Academy, Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte, the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
